An ordinary woman in her early 40s, daughter of an army hero from a small town, proudly call herself as an educationist who strongly believes that a knowledge is useful only if it gives growth or happiness or money ; better, all three.

Bhavna has a long history in the industry having worked as a core member of senior management in organisations like Loreal India, Lakme Lever, Landmark Dubai, NDTV worldwide, Zee TV. She was the National training Head for Lakme Salons, and L&D head, North for Loreal India. All the while, her entrepreneurial spirit was itching to break out. So, with a mix of drive, determination, and a little bit of chutzpah, launched her salon brand, Hair & Other stuff – The Salon in Juhu, Mumbai in 2014. The brand picked up good and was loved by the clientèle, that included celebrities from Bollywood.

Exhaustively trained by Loreal in makeup, hair & skin science, I always had a vision of educating others on the same. The idea was to provide expertise in hair and skin, along with a strong focus on educating the clients on their own hair and skin concerns and solutions.

As one of the highly qualified beauty practitioners, Bhavna loves to learn and ensure her skills are kept updated – meaning every customer benefits from her advanced knowledge and the very latest creative techniques and she doesn’t mind sharing that knowledge.

Hair & Other stuff – The Salon is now operational in Gurgaon on the Golf course road. Her expertise is now more tilted towards hair, and there’s a lot of cool hair stuff happening on her floor. From facials to pedicures & manicures, from nail services to makeup, the vision is to have Hair & Other stuff, The Salon as a customer-centric salon in all honesty.

When she is not in her dream place, you can find her at her home busy in her own stuff with her two young and handsome boys aged 21 and 16. Sounds unbelievable?
