My idea of a good Saturday night?
Well….warm place, good vibes, good booze, some live music and friends. I had been wanting that for a very long time. It is very difficult to have such a night when you are living in a hostel because eventually warm place becomes the comfort of your bed, good vibes become the latest show that you binge watch and good booze becomes cheap daaru that you get from the theka outside your hostel.

However, my wish did come true when I visited Imperfecto at Hauz Khas. It was Saturday night so obviously the place was a bit crowded but we managed to find a spot for six.  It had everything I could ever ask for on a beautiful night.  Let’s start with the fact that it will not let you leave disappointed.

The interiors are eclectically designed and it offers an amazing variety of food and drinks with perplexing music.

Let me warn you about the money though. Since the place is so damn awesome, it is not cheap at all. So if you want to have a dreamy night with all its music and jazz, make sure you are carrying enough to pay for the same 😛

Take my advice and head to Imperfecto HKV this Saturday!!

One does not have to struggle to have their favorite fast food at an outlet. There are many of them available near to you making it an easy option to dine in.

OFFERS

Fast food chains provide attractive offers which appeal to people to have it whether being providing a discount, meal deals or the second food item is free, such offers lures the people and they find it pocket-friendly and a good reason to have fast food.

An occasional fast food meal won’t be harming your body and can be a fun way to celebrate special occasions. Fast food is not bad if consumed within limits. Fast food often gets a bad rep for being high in fat, calories etc but its obvious appeal is mouth watering and can be a good profitable business today.

That is exactly what Shruti Agrawal did!! Meet the young baker who loves to bake and cook a yummy and delicious variety of food and desserts that will make you want to eat more. Shruti Agrawal is a penchant food and recipe blogger and owns the site well known as www.cookingdiarybyshruti.com.

Though Shruti completed her post graduation, her desire always remained in starting something on her own and be her own boss. However, she knew the value of education and hence wanted to finish her master’s hoping her education may help her in providing guidance to start and lead a successful business. bb

Which perfectly applies to Shruti as initially, she tried various other things to find her true interest. Such as the fashion industry, online store, family business and few other, none of which could win her mind and heart together. But she realized that baking and cooking is something she loves to do.

Cooking and baking came naturally to her as Shruti’s mother was also an excellent chef around her kitchen and Shruti learned many things at a young age. She started experimenting recipes since the age of 12.

My mother is the biggest inspiration to me and all that I know today is something I have learned from her. I will be the happiest when I cook as good as she does.

One cannot learn an art without making mistakes, and Shruti also faced a few accidents in the kitchen like burning her cupcakes or over roasting. Well, that’s part of learning because when you make a mistake you learn what to do and what not to do, isn’t it?

Sometimes when opportunities come, it knocks our door in the form of love by our family. Little did she know that one day she will own a cooking and food blog where people would look forward to what she writes and shares her recipes. In the year 2014, her sister Kirti encouraged her to start a blog with all her food recipes and share the idea with people who have similar interest and Kirti was adamant till Shruti started it. Until then she had no idea that she had it in her to turn her passions into a way of living.

As a teenaged girl, Shruti always watched the Nigella Lawson on TLC and aspired to become like her one day. However, she could not give much attention to what she truly loved to do as much of her time went into the preparation of her graduation and post graduation in marketing and advertising sectors.

When her sister forced her to start the blog, she was secretly excited too as she always loved writing. She decided to share her recipes through her blog. She did not know how to start one though. Hence, she researched and learned the basics of using a WordPress and started her blog.

She still remembers when she started the blog, the first post she wrote was about chocolate muffins. Prepared the muffins, took photos from her Samsung Note-2 and wrote a lengthy recipe. She was a novice in writing a food blog and was not as good in food styling and photography then. She kept the post in draft for about five days until she cooked up some courage to post it on the blog. She kept visiting her draft blog making sure if there were no errors.

When you do something out of heart, people always accept it gracefully and with love.

The love and appreciation she got from people in the form of comments and likes pushed her to work harder. People truly loved the idea of making a complicated recipe easier and upon that it was eggless. Since then there was no turning back. Shruti began to cook and bake the foods. Also took photos of them step by step to make a different post for every recipe. The process taught her to excel in other skills and fine tune her abilities in photography, food dressing, and styling.

For me, baking is Therapeutic. It makes me feel happy, calm and peaceful.

The blog concentrates on making different complex food items from scratch and breaking it down into easier recipes. The blog also features foods with gluten free, sugarless delicacies.
