Its 7 in the morning, and I am still in bed. It’s a beautiful morning, and I could hear the chirping of birds in the balcony. The Cool breeze was fluttering the curtains and I felt like going out with a hot cup of tea and enjoy the morning. But, who will make one for me? The one who makes, is missing. And I miss that special one so badly!

Thoughts kept coming and going. Two days and no news.

Hope all is well !! We humans are really addicted to negative thoughts in this kind of ‘No news’ situation. Aren’t we? Even the mobile is going off. What should I do? If I tell my mom, she will also get tensed.

It’s a weird feeling. How a person whom you met a few months back becomes an integral part of your life.

You get dependent on someone, for your life.

Your morning starts with thought around them and day ends with them.

The whole house just reminds you of them.

I took a deep breath and hoped all must be well. LIFE !! It has to go on…..

Suddenly the bell rang. My heart skipped a beat and I opened the door.

There she is…I saw …My Angel !!! I took a breath of relief!

NISHAA…My Maid!!! Where have you been ??

( What you people thought ?? For whom I am waiting?)

Yes, our angel, our henchman, our right hand or whatever name you have given.

Whom to rely on if you are out for work? We don’t have Doraemons with all his gadgets in place to help us and we are not superheroines either. We, the working women are just humans. Aren’t we?

Handling job and homes with perfection, dishing up Chinese in the dinner and packing puri chole for lunch the next day in tiffin  as well as having a spick n span home ready to invite guests warmly is not done by any magic wand but by a magician called Nisha bai/shantabai/kanta bai/ or any XYZ name.

From waking up the children, fetch them from school, accompany our elderly to the hospital to keeping homes tidy are among their many roles. Their presence at home is a special boon. Isn’t it?

This is the reality of our cosmopolitan city lifestyle.

If you are blessed with a faithful and trustable one, you’re lucky.
